How we make a frame
Eyewear you'll want to keep wearing
A frame lives on your face all day, so every detail has to earn its place. Here is what goes into a pair before it carries the Lumen name on the temple.
Hand-finished frames
Each front is milled, then tumbled and hand-polished over several days to a deep gloss. Titanium temples are cut from a single billet and flexed by hand so they sit level and light behind the ear.
Glazed & shipped to order
Send your prescription and we cut the lenses to your frame — single-vision, progressive, or blue-light. Every pair ships in a hard case with a cloth and tracked delivery, free over ₩150,000.
Home try-on & warranty
Order up to four frames to try on at home for five days before you commit to lenses. Every pair carries a two-year warranty against frame defects, and free adjustments for life.
Lenses, done right
Your prescription, cut in-house
We glaze every pair ourselves. Choose single-vision, office progressives, or a full varifocal, then add an anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating as standard. Our lenses are high-index and aspheric, so even a strong prescription stays thin and light.
Prefer sun? Any frame can take polarised or gradient tints, and clip-in magnetic sun lenses are available for the optical styles. Send your prescription at checkout, or add it later — we won't cut a lens until it's exactly right.
